 BenjaminWells / SusannaAllen

After a 20 year gap I've started researching my family tree and I am particularly interested in the Wells name. BenjaminWells married SusannaAllen on 26.03.1789 at Tetsworth. Benjamin gives his residence as Adwell, however I can find no trace of him there or indeed any other Wells living there. I have checked church records at the Bodlian Library Oxford without success. Can anybody suggest other avenues of research? BrianKing BKING1@sky.com
